In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in Anglicanism’s rich tradition of theology and liturgy. This project of retrieval has offered resources for thinking about Anglican identity, and it has provided a clear foundation for the future of Anglican theology.
Prolego Press, from the Greek “to speak first,” aims to help in this retrieval, making accessible lost resources for a new generation, and publishing original works in the Anglican tradition. As Bishop John Jewel said, we want to “hold fast those things which were delivered by the Apostles, and approved of by the most Ancient Fathers,” bringing the light of the past to illuminate a path in the present.-Robert Ramsey, Founder and Editor
